Ready Georgia Seal of Preparedness

The Georgia Department of Education, in collaboration with the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, created a recognition to commend schools going above and beyond to increase school safety and minimize risk factors. The Ready Georgia Seal of Preparedness will be awarded to all schools who apply and meet specific safety planning criteria. The Seal of Preparedness requires annual reapplication and will evidence the consistent maintenance and effort of schools to sustain quality planning and preparation.

We are proud to announce that all Ben Hill County Schools have been awarded the Ready Georgia Seal of Preparedness for the 2025/2026 school year.
