Mrs. Abby Holt

Mrs. Abby Holt is the Early Childhood Education pathway instructor at Fitzgerald High School College and Career Acadey.  After graduating from Fitzgerald High School, she attended Valdosta State University to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education.  She later earned her Master's degree in Early Reading and Literacy from Waldon University.  Upon graduation from Valosta State, Mrs. Holt returned to the Fitzgerald Community to begin her teaching career.  Mrs. Holt has been on staff with the Ben Hill County School System since 2006.  She has been at FHSCCA since 2011 where she has taught the Early Childhood Education Pathway and overseen the FHS Little Canes Preschool program. Mrs. Holt was honored to be named the 2020 FHSCCA Teacher of the Year.  Mrs. Holt loves her Purple Hurricanes and giving back to the school and community that helped shape her into the teacher she is today.
