Dr. Beth Hall-Turner

Dr. Hall-Turner graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1984.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia in the field of Early Childhood Education in 1988.  She began teaching 3rd and 5th grades at Ben Hill County Elementary School in the fall of 1988.  The following year, she began teaching second grade, and it is here where she has been for the past 29 years.  Continuing her education at Valdosta State University, she earned a Master of Education Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1992, and then obtained an Education Specialist Degree in 1996.  Dr. Hall-Turner was selected as Ben Hill County Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2002.  In 2006, she earned a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University.

Dr. Hall-Turner is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Fitzgerald, Georgia.  She is married to Mark Turner, and they have two children, Grant and Evan.  Dr. Hall-Turner enjoys spending time with her family, cheering for her Georgia Bulldogs, and going to the beach.
