Technology is having a HUGE impact on every aspect of modern life. Computers can be found in nearly every office, home, and auto shop. If we are going to prepare students for the careers they will enter after graduation, computers and digital learning must be an integral part of the teaching and learning process.
The BHCS technology vision has been shaped by the District & School Level Technology Planning Committees (TPC). It is also aligned with the Governor's Digital Learning Task Force to improve student achievement by implementation of digital learning across the state. Input is also welcome from groups representing parents, businesses in the community, and higher educational facilities.
One of the key components of the mission statement of the Distirct Technology Committee is for students to be able to use technology to enhance their knowledge. Our goal is to create an environment where technology will transform the teaching and learning process, as well as the operation of the entire school. Ben Hill County School Distirct is putting forth great effort to make plans to move our schools forward in preparation of the 21st Century.
