Welcome to the FHSCCA Band page! My name is Jonathan Thurston and I have directed band for twelve years with the past two being here in Fitzgerald. I am also a member of the Air National Guard where I perform with the ANG Band of the South. In addition, my wife and I are both active church musicians. I believe in the power of music education to help develop the skills needed for students to be successful 21st century citizens. My goal for the FHSCCA Bands is to develop our students' musicianship and leadership skills while educating and entertaining the community through quality performances.
